I’m Joke or Yucca. I’m an ‘Ostendaise’, 31 years and I love to be in the Sea to surf, swim or doing crazy!
Living in Ostend makes it easy to spent a lot of time in the North Sea! I would love to share my experiences of surfing in the Sea with all of you.
From the travels I made I got inspired to start the NorthSeaSurfSisters! I was bored to see a line-up full of men! After I visit France, Portugal, Spain, South Africa, India and Marocco my mission started:

you can find me on my yogamat, outdoors or in my van. I love nature and being free, free from materialistic things and just live with the basics and nature around me.
I studied Health Science, did several yoga courses (Hatha/ Prana Yoga Flow/ Yin / Aerial & Kids Yoga) and I am an ISA Surfcoach.
I would love to ride the waves together & meet you in the North Sea!
